About the Job
Weber & Olcese, P.L.C. is looking for a qualified Legal Assistant to join our growing and dynamic team. This Legal Assistant position will support the firm's insurance defense practice group. Candidates should have circuit court, district court, and federal court efiling experience. A minimum of (2) years of professional experience working as a legal assistant in insurance defense litigation.

- Drive to be a self-starter and to work independently or in close consultation with colleagues
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Word Perfect
- Experience with data entry preferred
- Summarize legal documents
- Self-motivated
- Desire to work with others in achieving company and client goals
- Draft legal documents as needed
- Maintain and coordinate attorney dockets as needed
- Assist attorneys as needed
- Meet and exceed company and client goals
- Comply with all federal, state and local regulations
- Comply with all office policies and procedures
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- At least a high school diploma or GED required.
- Candidates should have circuit court and district court efiling experience.
- A minimum of (2) year of professional experience working as a legal assistant in insurance defense litigation.
Other Work Requirements:
- Successfully pass pre-employment testing including criminal background check, credit check, and drug testing
