Position Title:
Legal Assistant

Responsibilities:
As a Legal Assistant at Dalal & Mehta, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our legal operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and organizing client files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Drafting and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and forms.
• Preparing immigration packets, scanning them into our server, and responsible for mailing them out. 
• Assisting attorneys in preparing for meetings, hearings, and trials.
• Liaising with clients, courts, and government agencies to facilitate case progress.
• Providing general administrative support, including handling phone calls and emails.

Qualifications:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized professional who is passionate about the legal field. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal or administrative capacity.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
• Prior experience in a law firm or legal setting (immigration experience preferred).
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to client service.
