We currently have an opportunity for a seeking a full-time corporate Legal Assistant to assist with business transactions (buy/sell) for car dealerships for a law firm located in Montville, NJ (zip code 07045). We are looking for someone with a minimum of ten years’ of legal assistant experience with business transactions.

Position responsibilities are:

• Document preparation i.e. purchase agreements and other operating agreements
• Edit documents using redlining
• Preparation of legal correspondence using dictation and MS Word

Candidates need to have at least 10 years of relevant experience in a law firm. The applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office, have knowledge of document comparison, be detail oriented, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, have excellent organizational skills, be able to prioritize assignments and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
