Legal Assistant – Personal Injury
Full-time | In-Office | $25-$30/hr
TemPositions is excited to partner with a fast-growing and innovative law firm, seeking a Legal Assistant to support its mission of making a difference in the lives of injury victims. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong organizational skills, and are eager to be part of a team dedicated to client recovery, this position is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage pre-litigation personal injury cases from start to settlement
- Open and set up new client files, report claims to insurance companies
- Draft representation letters and request police reports
- Request and manage medical records/bills
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and relevant parties
- Collaborate with attorneys, case managers, and medical coordinators
The Ideal Candidate Is:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish required)
- Friendly, compassionate, and client-focused
- A great team player with strong organizational skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks and challenging situations
- Experienced in a legal or administrative role (1+ year preferred)
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proficient with standard office productivity software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in customer service or administration preferred
