Job Description:

The Legal Assistant must possess strong computer skills, attention to detail, independent organizational skills and be task oriented. Training is available for new candidates to the industry or cross training in new departments.

Essentials Responsibilities:

• Open new files, review legal documents, and accurately input data into our systems.
• Proactively request necessary information from clients and provide timely follow-up.
• Utilize federal and local online public access sites to obtain property and party information.
• Manage and maintain work queues in our firm’s internal system
• Update file status and communicate with clients using external databases, email and phone
• Work closely with other teams to meet deadlines and ensure seamless workflow.

• 1-3 years of legal assistant experience.
• Self motivator with limited supervision.
• Must have basic computer proficiency, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-pressure environment.
• Superior attention to detail.
• High School Diploma, College degree preferred.
• Work in a team environment.

Our office hours are 9-5:30 M-F, all candidates must be able to work these hours.
