Job Opportunity: Accounting Specialist / Senior Accounting Clerk
Location: Emeryville, CA
Pay Rate: $31-$39/hour (hourly role, with OT available if worked)
Are you an accounting professional with experience in the legal field? We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist / Senior Accounting Clerk to join a dynamic law firm in Emeryville. This role is primarily focused on Accounts Payable (90% AP, 10% AR) and requires someone who thrives in a meticulous, heads-down environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage high-volume Accounts Payable, including big payouts for settled cases.
- Oversee credit card transactions, receivables, and expense reports (via Concur).
- Save and organize invoices, receipts, and supporting documents for case records.
- Download and analyze reports from internal systems.
- Collaborate with two Senior Accountants to support financial operations.
- Utilize Excel for data analysis, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions.
Requirements:
- Law Firm experience is mandatory.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong organizational skills to manage transaction records and supporting documentation.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial software (Concur preferred).
- Ability to pass a credit and background check.
