Starting Salary is $42,818.75 - $50,000 annually and potential yearly incentive pay up to 9%. Salary offered is dependent on skills and qualifications, with the high end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience. Rebecca “Missie” Hendry & Associates, insurance staff counsel for State Farm Mutual Insurance Companies, is seeking Legal Administrative Support team members to join their growing team located in St. Petersburg, FL. Qualified candidates would be responsible for providing administrative assistance to attorneys, paralegals, legal secretaries, and leadership. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to reception duties, scanning incoming mail, electronic mailbox management, obtaining records, records management/organization for expert referrals, and other administrative duties as assigned. We are seeking detail-oriented individuals with strong teamwork skills to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:30 A.M.-5:00 P.M. The position is classified as a hybrid role meaning that the work arrangement calls for hours in the office and virtually. However, the first 60 days business are required to be in office. Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.
Located in downtown St. Petersburg, FL, we enjoy an active and busy civil trial practice. We provide a congenial, team-oriented professional work environment with skilled support staff.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Reception duties, scanning incoming mail,

• Records management/organization

• Familiarity of the legal process including legal and/or medical terminology knowledge
• Experience with the Florida E-Portal is a plus
• Initiative, critical thinking, and strong work ethic
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
• Experience working in an office setting
• Strong computer skills and experience working in an electronic/digital environment
• End-user support and troubleshooting experience
• Bilingual is a plus but not required
