Legal Administrative Assistant/Paralegal (NY Financial Services Company)
- 6 months-2 years of Legal Administrative/Assistant experience (Internship experience is acceptable) or a recent Paralegal graduate with solid administrative assistant and typing skills
- Requires solid general office skills with excellent typing skills (Dictaphone experience a plus), must know MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must have solid interpersonal skills, verbal/written communications, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate work, maintain confidentiality, and think critically and analytically under deadline driven pressure.
- Will Assist with various administrative matters, including, but not limited to, pulling documents, scanning, printing, filing/saving documents to the system and mailing original documents.
- Will prepare documents for execution (e.g., set up signatures blocks and coordinate signing with appropriate individuals)
- Will assist with discovery work, and respond to subpoenas.
- Will review and respond to emails.
- Will keep calendar items up to date
- Must be able to deal at all organizational levels as is supporting Chief Counsel
