The Resource is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant for a reputable Attorney's office in High Point, NC. This contract position offers a pay rate of $18.00 per hour, with a flexible 1st shift schedule (choose between 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM, working 20-25 hours per week). There's potential for this role to transition into a full-time schedule for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Draft court orders and legal documents with accuracy.
- Organize and analyze evidence and other case materials for attorney review.
- Prepare and proofread legal correspondence, contracts, and pleadings.
- Conduct legal research on laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Coordinate with clients and witnesses to schedule interviews, meetings, and depositions.
- Maintain and organize paper and electronic filing systems.
- Provide administrative support by managing the attorneys calendar and arranging travel plans.
- Strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
- Background as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
