TempExperts is hiring a Legal Administrative Assistant with Corporate Transactions and Health Care Experience to join a prestigious law firm in the St. Petersburg, FL area. This is a direct hire opportunity!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update client contact information.
- Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents for accuracy (spelling, grammar, punctuation, format, content).
- Assist attorneys with organizing client materials within the document management system.
- Manage time entry and client billing; review and edit pre-bills for attorney approval.
- Handle new business intake, conflicts checks, and opening/closing client matters.
- Answer calls and routine questions, route to appropriate staff as needed.
- Perform administrative duties including client file management, general correspondence, expense reports, CLE tracking, and check requests.
- Use Microsoft Office proficiently; experience with iManage and Aderant is a plus.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work extra hours when needed.
- 3+ years litigation experience.
- Experience with corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and/or representing health care entities.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to type at least 55 words per minute.
- Strong organizational skills and client service orientation.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
