About the Job
Our client, a financial services firm located in the Glen Mills, PA area, is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their growing team. This role will support the Senior Paralegal in servicing clients, including document management, drafting and updating reports, and client communications. This role requires keen attention to detail and strong writing skills to work collaboratively with a fast-paced team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in meetings and maintain relevant meeting notes.
- Draft and update reports and templates pertaining to client meetings and meeting notes.
- Write summaries to supplement reports.
- Gathering relevant information and documentation.
- Manage and organize reports and documentation.
- Tracking completion of various tasks.
- Client communication and interface tasks for firm financial services.
- Formatting or creating Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Adobe PDF documents.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of legal assistant experience
- Law firm experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong writing skills required
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage many assignments simultaneously and quickly shift focus from one project to another as needed
- Strong research and report-generating skills
- Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, across all organization levels
