Legal Administrative Assistant at Thrun Law Firm, P.C.

Immediate Opening for Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant.  East Lansing office of mid-size state-wide law firm seeks full-time Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant with at least 3 - 5 years of experience in litigation support or state/county/municipal administrative proceedings.  Position includes a variety of responsibilities and opportunities for growth.  Position is critical to 29-attorney law firm.  Candidate must be well-organized, self-motivated, attentive to detail, able to work collaboratively but with minimal supervision, and able to prioritize and follow through on long-term and short-term projects.  Successful candidate must be proficient in the use of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.    Preferred qualifications include:  experience with legal document management systems, experience with e-filing in federal and state courts, experience with state administrative filings or AAA arbitration proceedings, and ability to provide basic end-user tech support.   Position is full-time (40 hours/week), Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.  We offer competitive salaries, generous benefits, and a pleasant working environment.  We are looking for someone to be a valued member of our legal team.  This is an immediate opening to be filled as soon as possible
