We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant for a direct hire position in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case preparation and management
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and compile data
- Manage and organize client files and records
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or certification in paralegal studies (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
