We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is a permanent role and will offer an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment within the Legal industry. The successful candidate will support our legal team by managing day-to-day operations, including preparing legal documents, conducting research, and maintaining client relationships. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to our legal team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
2. Prepare, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence, ensuring all materials are accurate and professionally presented.
3. Conduct legal research under the guidance of our attorneys, compiling and analyzing data for legal documents.
4. Liaise with clients and other legal professionals to schedule meetings, conference calls, and depositions.
5. Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system for all legal documents, ensuring easy access to critical information.
6. Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and physical mail.
7. Assist in the preparation of court filings and serve as a liaison between the legal team and the court system.
8. Ensure the confidentiality of all sensitive information, adhering to the company's data privacy policies.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant or similar role within the legal industry.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
3. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
5. Strong research skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze complex legal documents.
6. A high degree of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. A degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field would be an advantage.
10. Familiarity with legal terminologies and court procedures is a plus.
