The role involves handling FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, and disability programs, while providing responsive support to employees, management, and vendors. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential for success in this position.

- Location: 1 Water St., Camden, NJ 08102
- Work Mode: Hybrid - 3 days in office/2 days remote
Responsibilities:
- Administer and track LOA programs, including FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, Military Leave, STD, and LTD.
- Educate employees and managers on leave policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide guidance on paycoding, update LOA status in HR systems, and audit payroll data for accuracy.
- Prepare and distribute compliant leave-related correspondence, including notifications, approval letters, and packets.
- Collaborate with payroll, HR, and vendors to reconcile insurance claims, overpayments, and billing.
- Participate in calls with Legal and HR on complex LOA and ADA accommodation cases.
- Monitor compliance with evolving legislation, recommend policy updates, and assist with mergers or acquisitions impacting LOA processes.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Required Skills:Thorough knowledge of federal and state leave laws, including FMLA and ADA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word) and HRIS systems.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters discreetly.
Experience:
- Minimum 1+ year of LOA experience or 2+ years in HR roles (Assistant, Specialist, Generalist, or Benefits).
- Proven experience resolving complex leave issues and conflict management.
- Familiarity with union environments and Collective Bargaining Agreements is a plus.
