Peak Living is currently seeking a qualified Leasing Specialist to join our team!

Under the direction of the Assistant Community Manager, the Leasing Specialist supports and assists with all aspects of the community operations.

Knowledge/ Skills / Ability

• Provide customer service and sales tours to prospective residents and current residents.

• Demonstratedproficiency inOutlook,Excel,Word

• Mustbeable to effectivelycommunicate,comprehend,speakandBi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to comprehendlegaldocumentsandcarryoutrelatedrentcollections
• Intermediate level math skills (add,subtract,multiply,divide,decimals,fractions,andcalculatepercentages) necessary to completefinancialrecords,budgets,andother fiscal documents
• Demonstrated understandingofpropertyoperationswithemphasisonleasetermsandcontractenforcement,includingcollections and marketing.
• Implement marketing strategies and resident retention programs.

PreferredEducationandExperience

• Previous experienceasanonsiteLeasingConsultantinmulti-familyhousing,hospitalityorsimilar industry is preferred.
• A highschooldiplomaor equivalent

Responsibilities

• The Leasing Specialistsupportsandparticipatesinfulfilling the customer serviceandleasing responsibilitiesUpholdleasingandmarketingstandardsincludingtelephonemarketing,greetingprospectiveresidents,gatheringprospectinformation,settingappointments, showingreadyandmodelapartments, generatingquotes,closingandsecuringdeposits,andassisting the prospectiveresidentswithrentalapplicationcompletionand creditverification
• Assistinpreparingallpaperworkspecific to newand renewallease agreements
• Insert lease renewalratesasapprovedbyCommunityManagerandassistsindelivery ofrenewalletters to secure lease renewals.
• Reviewresidentfilesandaccountingrecords to determineunpaidand/orlatefeesowed,communicatewithresidentsregardingoutstandingbalances,implementprocedures for collectingondelinquencies,andenforce the lease to maximize
• Assist the Community Managerinorganizingcommunityresidentactivities,preparingnewslettersandmaintainingresidentloyalty andretention
