We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Leasing Officer to join our team in the Accounting + Finance industry. This position offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact on our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and negotiating leases for our real estate portfolio, ensuring compliance with leasing terms, and managing relationships with our tenants and property owners. This role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of real estate and property management.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all leasing activities, including marketing properties, conducting property viewings, and negotiating lease terms and conditions.
2. Manage the lease administration process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all lease documentation.
3. Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance activities as needed.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, property owners, and other stakeholders.
5. Ensure compliance with all lease terms and conditions, addressing any non-compliance issues promptly and professionally.
6. Conduct market research to ensure our leasing terms remain competitive and reflect current market conditions.
7. Collaborate with our finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting for our real estate portfolio.
8. Resolve any lease-related disputes or issues, utilizing strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in lease administration, property management, real estate, or a related field.
3. Proven experience in contract negotiation and managing lease agreements.
4. Strong understanding of real estate market dynamics and property values.
5. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
7. Proficiency in relevant software applications, including property management and financial reporting software.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve disputes and issues effectively and professionally.
9. A professional certification in real estate or property management would be highly regarded.
