Leasing Agent / Executive Assistant
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Leasing Agent / Executive Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role combines real estate leasing responsibilities with executive administrative support. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly efficient, and adept at multitasking, with strong communication skills and a customer-service orientation. You will assist in leasing residential or commercial properties, while also providing administrative support to executives in the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Leasing Agent Duties:
• Assist prospective tenants by providing property information, conducting tours, and answering questions about available units.
• Handle lease applications, screenings, and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Prepare and execute leasing agreements and contracts.
• Maintain accurate records of prospective tenants, lease renewals, and property details.
• Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and related logistics for tenants.
• Follow up on leads, schedule showings, and generate lease renewals.
• Monitor market trends and competitive properties to help set rental rates.
• Ensure the property is well-maintained and report any maintenance issues to management.
Executive Assistant Duties:
• Provide administrative support to executives, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
• Prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Assist with office organization, filing, and maintaining company records.
• Manage office supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Assist in coordinating company events, meetings, and conferences.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support executives and team members.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or higher preferred).
• Previous experience in real estate leasing, property management, or a customer service role is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Real estate license (if applicable, based on location).
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during property tours.
• Occasional lifting and carrying of office supplies (up to 25 lbs).
