A Leasing Consultant plays a crucial role in promoting and leasing apartment homes within the Billingsley Collection. The primary responsibilities revolve around engaging with potential tenants, showcasing property features, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The role involves a blend of sales, marketing, and customer relationship management.
Job Responsibilities
- Lease apartment homes and promote Billingsley Collection products and services
- Respond to online leads, answer prospect phone calls and conduct property tours following the Billingsley standards of excellence
- Display community and apartment expertise by showcasing unique characteristics and amenities
- Assist in maintaining the appearance of community and apartment homes`
- Utilize sales, networking, and marketing strategies to help increase property traffic
- Effectively communicate details of the different apartment unit options and variations
- Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and market competition
- Provide exemplary customer service to both current and prospective customers
- Greet customers in a warm, courteous, professional, and welcoming manner
- Build relationships with residents, colleagues, vendors, and guests
- Accurately prepare and enter lease related paperwork and information into internal resident database
- Assist with resident events as needed
- Attend associate meetings and required trainings
- Adhere to Billingsley Company's Standards of Excellence and operating procedures
- Other tasks or duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in sales, service, or hospitality industry preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
- Yardi, RealPage, Funnel and other property management system experience a plus
- College preferred, high school diploma required
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate
- Valid Drivers License
- Weekends required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
