Newport Pacific Capital, a recognized leader in manufactured housing, RV resort, and apartment community management has a full-time employment opportunity for an experienced Leasing Consultant at a multi-unit apartment community and mini storage facility in Sonora, CA.
Under the supervision of the Community Manager; the leasing consultant ensures an efficient and reliable leasing process, orchestrates property tours and follows up with prospects to make sure the units are rented. The ideal candidate will be personable, organized, and committed to exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, prospective renters, and current residents.
- Build a rapport with current and potential residents by giving them personalized service.
- Provide potential residents with brochures, information, and tours of facilities and available units.
- Follow up on leads for potential residents.
- Collect application documents and ensure proper screening of prospective residents.
- Prepare and present leases and other residency documents for signing.
- Assist with recordkeeping, filing, bookkeeping, and paperwork as required.
- Track market movements, competitor rates, and consumer insights to refine rental pricing and promotional offers.
- Create, develop, and maintain a list of promotions and discounts to attract renters.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Sales and marketing experience in multifamily housing
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Familiarity with Rent Manager software
Compensation:
- $17-$18 per hour, dependent on experience, with a benefits package contingent upon successful completion of an introductory period.
