About the Job
Our client is looking to hire highly motivated and energetic Leasing Consultants to their residential portfolio in the DFW area. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in leasing apartments on a large scale. They will be expected to lead the entire sales process and meet targeted goals and objectives for occupancy.
The responsibilities of the Leasing Consultant include:
- Contact all prospective leads to schedule tours, answer questions, and provide information about the property and amenities
- Conduct tours of property, show apartments to prospective clients
- Provide accurate information on the different features of properties
- Validate application information and references, assist applicant with application process
- Ensures units are leased to meet/exceed budget
- Assist in preparing regular market surveys
- Makes recommendations to improve marketing/leasing programs
Successful candidates possess bachelor’s degree, strong leasing and sales experience, and good organizational ability. The right candidate must be outgoing and self-starting, skilled at initiating relationships, following up and overcoming objections. Outstanding customer service and sales skills are essential to the position.
Leasing experience in a residential portfolio is required. Position will require nights and weekends as needed.
