Job Description
As a Leasing Consultant at [Organization Name], you will join our esteemed Property Management team, reporting directly to the Community Manager. Your role will involve successfully leasing units and actively participating in marketing efforts to drive traffic to our properties.
Responsibilities
Showcase rent-ready apartments to prospective tenants.
Meet with and effectively qualify prospective applicants, ensuring thorough verification of applications.
Prepare lease documents and associated paperwork accurately and efficiently.
Take proactive steps in competitive analysis and property marketing initiatives.
Collaborate closely with the Community Manager and Assistant Manager to facilitate leasing processes.
Maintain awareness of property appearance and condition, promptly relaying relevant information.
Establish and maintain complete resident files, ensuring timely completion of all application processes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the leasing area at all times.
Record all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
Address resident concerns promptly and efficiently, following established procedures.
Assist in rent collection and receipt preparation.
Ensure timely deposit handling and meticulous documentation.
Record daily traffic in the software program.
Follow up with prospects promptly, within twenty-four (24) hours, using Guest Cards or a "Thank-You" response.
Provide support to the Community Manager and Assistant Manager as required.
Maintain an appropriate work pace in alignment with workload demands.
Demonstrate organizational skills and proficiency in time management.
Ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse ethnic and family backgrounds.
Perform diverse and complex tasks as assigned.
Participate in Company-sponsored events aimed at team development, which may occasionally require overnight stays away from home.
Experience
Proficiency in basic math skills.
High School diploma or equivalent, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Successful completion of company-sponsored Tax Credit Certification class within the first year of employment. Failure to pass the test after two attempts may result in termination.
Proficiency in verbal and written English communication.
Minimum one year of experience in a customer service-related field.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Familiarity with general office equipment.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Ability to operate computers and office equipment.
Primarily sedentary work environment.
