Indigo Real Estate is seeking a full-time Leasing Professional to oversee the day to day leasing operations of an affordable apartment community in Auburn. The Leasing Professional is responsible for completing regular market survey reports, planning, controlling, and directing the day to day leasing operations of the property, and for maintaining effective and harmonious resident relations. The purposes of this position are to maintain strong occupancy through leasing skills, working alongside the manager of the property in accordance with ownership/Indigo guidelines, meet the financial objectives of the ownership and management, to protect the value and integrity of the real estate, and to be responsive to all applicable government agency standards and requirements. This position includes, but not limited to leasing, collections, resident services, maintenance, assisting with marketing budgeting, information reporting and completion of all compliance related documentation for the property while maintaining compliance with applicable partners, laws and company policies. The following attributes are desirable for job success: experience in leasing a multifamily conventional property, direct experience with Yardi management software, ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. A successful candidate has the ability to work well under pressure, is self-motivated, self-directed, and is able to work with/without direct supervision. Experience: - At least 1 year of leasing for a multifamily community experience is desirable; + Extensive knowledge in marketing and leasing required - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; - Ability to exercise quick and accurate judgement and maintain confidentiality. - Effective conflict resolution and customer service skills. - Ability to set priorities and multi-task with a strong attention to detail.
