Compensation: $95K to $100K + bonus

ABOUT THE COMPANY AND LEASE ACCOUNTING MANAGER OPPORTUNITY:

Our client, a fortune 500 organization, is seeking a lease accounting manager to support large volume lease accounting. This role offers the opportunity to lead a high performing team. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LEASE ACCOUNTING MANAGER:

• Oversee all complex lease accounting
• Review trends and month-end and perform research related to P&L questions
• Review and approve landlord payments
• Review and approve journal entries related to rent and common area maintenance
• Act as lease department liaison and work cross functionally with internal departments
• Work with internal and external auditors as needed
• Oversee base rent, percentage rent, and common area payments process

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE LEASE ACCOUNTING MANAGER:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience
• Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Project management experience with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Self-starter mindset with the initiative to promote change when needed.

Preferred:

• Advanced degree (MBA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Oracle and/or Hyperion
