JOB SUMMARY FOR LEASE ACCOUNTING ANALYST:
- Epitec is hiring a Lease Accounting Analyst to come on a hybrid schedule 3 days/week in Chicago, must be local.
- Compensation: $30-$34/HR
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR LEASE ACCOUNTING ANALYST:
- Maintain the lease notification business processes.
- Prepare audit packets for selected lease transactions noting the accounting implications.
- Maintain lease payment schedules to ensure accuracy of fixed rent, percentage rent and CAM/Tax payments to landlords in accordance with the lease terms.
- Ensure compliance with SOX and company policies for assigned lease accounting business processes.
- Participate with ad-hoc requests and special projects.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR LEASE ACCOUNTING ANALYST:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Open to degrees in other areas subject to applicable experience.
- At least 1 year of qualifying lease expense accounting work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer experience focus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand and present variances with accounts.
- Computer proficiency in Adobe, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Knowledge of Oracle and TRIRIGA a plus.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR LEASE ACCOUNTING ANALYST:
- Lease Accounting- 3-5 Years (At least 1 year of qualifying lease expense accounting work experience)
- MS Office 3-5 Years Computer proficiency in Adobe, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Oracle-3-5 Years of Knowledge of Oracle and TRIRIGA a plus.
