About the Job
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Learning Specialist (Sales) focuses on the facilitation, coordination, delivery, and logistics of new hire training & development support of Outside & Inside Sales Representatives during the 18-month onboarding experience. Additionally, they will support other sales-oriented roles such as SDR or Digital Marketing with training support as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage, facilitate & deliver outside & inside sales new hire training group classes
- Document, revise or create content specific to new hire onboarding including instructors guides
- Support design of ongoing outside & inside sales development program
- Develop outside and inside sales ongoing development content including instructors guides
- Deliver outside or inside sales ongoing training sessions as needed or coordinate sessions with SME according to plan
- Assist with creating regular ongoing sales specific micro-learning material
- Design sales specific learning tools or work aides
- Assist with reviewing inside sales phone calls for learning opportunities
- Travel with outside sales teams, meetings or trade shows to explore for additional learning opportunities
- Provide learning support to SDR/Digital Marketers/Marketing as required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to deliver in-person training sessions or workshops for long periods or successive days
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift training material of 50 pounds
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience training others in past or current role
- Candidates must have minimum 3 years of substantial & demonstrated training delivery and instructional design experience
- Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate work product and past experiences within the limitations of any NDA or confidentiality agreements
- All candidates should demonstrate ability to help others learn and have experiences in line with demonstrating this track record
- All candidates should demonstrate a natural curiosity, ability to analyze situations, empathy and ability to interface with all colleagues in the organization
- Proficient in use of MS Office
- Having proficient knowledge and familiarity of Adobe products, Canva, Camtasia, Descript, Rise360 or other content creation tools preferred
- Position is based in Rhode Island Headquarters building and is hybrid within current igus practices
- Ability to travel throughout the United States and Europe
