Opportunity Overview:
We're seeking a passionate Learning and Development (L&D) Team Manager to join us in shaping the future of our workforce. As the L&D Team Manager, you'll be at the forefront of enhancing our employees' capabilities to meet the demands of evolving technology and manufacturing advances.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development roadmap, ensuring the delivery of impactful training content that remains cost-effective.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and deploy engaging learning solutions, including both instructor-led and e-learning programs.
- Manage the curriculum development process and selection of external training resources, while overseeing budgets and expenditures.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous learning to support business needs and enhance employee skills, knowledge, and behaviors.
- Establish feedback mechanisms and training metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements.
- Lead L&D governance efforts, standardizing training processes and soliciting feedback from stakeholders.
- Coordinate hiring and onboarding activities, ensuring new employees are equipped with the necessary skills for success.
- Supervise and mentor L&D and Launch Planning Specialists, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Oversee workforce readiness planning for new product, process, and facility launches, ensuring flawless execution.
- Facilitate cross-functional planning and alignment to support multiple launch programs simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in L&D management or relevant role.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Learning and Development, or related field; additional certifications such as CPLP are a plus.
- Strong understanding of curriculum design principles and training effectiveness measurement methods.
- Experience with e-learning platforms and practices, along with project management skills for large-scale initiatives.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a track record of building relationships across various levels of an organization.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
