Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in implementing Lean tools, principles, and methodologies, including:
- 6S deployment
- Creating continuous flow & optimizing layout
- Visualizing Value Stream Map
- Implementing Kaizen and balancing Takt Times
- Conducting time studies and ergonomic improvements
- Implementing SMED workshops
- Establishing leveled Pull systems
- Bachelor's degree in a related area (preferred)
- Black Belt certification (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (strongly preferred)
1. Plant Lean Strategy and Roadmap:
- Collaborate with Plant Manager to consolidate the annual Plant Lean roadmap.
- Communicate the roadmap to the Group Lean Manager for alignment.
- Ensure coordination and follow-up for the implementation of the yearly Plant Lean roadmap.
- Report progress to the Group Lean Manager and site CODIR (Comité de Direction) on the deployment of the Plant Lean roadmap.
- Lead the deployment of best practices within the operations organization, driving continuous improvement in various manufacturing processes.
- Take the initiative to reduce process costs, improve material flow, and decrease process cycle times.
- Facilitate Lean workshops as per the defined yearly roadmap.
- Actively participate in plant production site meetings and routines.
- Coordinate and oversee Lean implementation at the Plant level.
- Assess the utilization of plant Lean practices and standards based on Lean PES audit guidelines and Management Reviews.
- Prepare and execute Lean Plant PES audits as necessary, ensuring maximum compliance with established best practices.
- Engage actively in the Lean management network and participate in yearly Lean events on-site.
- Provide training and support to site operational teams using Lean training modules, group training, and skill management tools.
- Stay updated on technological advancements related to Lean practices, contributing to ongoing process improvements.
- Competitive salary range: $90,000 - $130,000 per year (dependent on experience)
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
