The League Consultant will manage daily interactions with credit unions in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, building and nurturing relationships with both member and non-member credit unions. This role includes facilitating Association Services through LSCU and developing, planning, and coordinating events to promote LEVERAGE products and services to identify and prospect lead generations and new sales. Additionally, the position involves developing micro-community groups to implement goals and strategies for professional development and community projects to support programs within the Member Engagement and Business Development Departments. Key responsibilities include marketing and selling Association Services and LEVERAGE offerings to drive revenue, achieve growth objectives, and serve as a trusted partner to credit unions.
As a League Consultant, you will cultivate and manage relationships with credit unions, serving as both a sales and engagement consultant. Your role includes preparing and delivering proposals for products and services and securing new contracts while renewing existing ones to meet annual sales targets. Key responsibilities involve facilitating planning sessions and training for credit union boards, promoting Association-sponsored events, and developing solutions to enhance membership services. You will also provide referrals to Business Development Consultants, update Salesforce with pertinent information, and assist management in developing or improving products and services by researching and addressing customer needs. Regular status reports, both written and verbal, on prospect and affiliation status will also be part of your duties.
What you need to be qualified for this job: (see full job description attached)
- Associate's degree in business administration, marketing, communication or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Four years' experience in a communications, marketing, or non-profit association position.
- Financial services experience. Previous credit union experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge and understanding of the history, development, and philosophy of the credit union movement.
Maintaining a robust understanding of credit union issues, financial performance data, LSCU & Affiliates programs, and LEVERAGE products and services, both in-house and endorsed is essential.
Work Schedule:
As a League Consultant, you will travel extensively throughout our tri-state region, mainly through Georgia and Central Florida, primarily by car and occasionally by plane. This position is fully remote with the flexibility to set your schedule to align with credit union needs. Due to the amount of travel involved, relocating to Georgia within a 90-mile radius of Savannah, Georgia will be needed for this position as well as a valid driver's license. Salary is $55k+ depending on experience.
