Job Summary:
The Leadership and Culture Training Program Manager II will oversee the development and implementation of leadership and culture training programs. This role demands a high degree of business acumen and an expert ability to develop content and coach executive leaders on implementing these strategies effectively. This role is responsible for ensuring that all programs meet the developmental needs of employees, comply with legal requirements, and align with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing teams, coaching managers, facilitating leadership programming with a deep understanding of situational leadership and experience leading inclusive, culture-related initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee comprehensive leadership and culture training programs aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee development at Inogen.
- Provide strategic leadership development support and curriculum for Inogen’s managers in Plano, Texas, Goleta, California, and Remote locations, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a pivotal liaison between employees and management, promoting transparent communication related to leadership development needs and nurturing positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Offer expert guidance and advice to managers on handling complex employee issues, serving as a trusted resource in disciplinary actions and ensuring adherence to legal standards through proper documentation and procedural compliance.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team members within the leadership training program, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Continuously generate innovative ideas and initiatives to improve Inogen’s corporate culture through learning experiences, fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment that aligns with the company’s values and mission.
- Lead and actively participate in initiatives focused on process improvement and culture enhancement, driving organizational change and operational excellence across Inogen.
- Research, design, coordinate, assign, track, and execute robust management training and employee development programs tailored to meet the evolving needs of Inogen succession and career development initiatives.
- Collaborate with managers to assess current and future skill requirements, diagnose/identify gaps, and develop targeted programs that align with Inogen’s strategic objectives and support employee career advancement (and redirect when training is not an aligned solution).
- Facilitate both virtually and in person necessary training and leadership development programs.
- Create curriculum, program content and instructional design for both online, virtual and in-person delivery.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned by senior leadership, demonstrating flexibility and readiness to contribute to the overall success and growth of Inogen.

Qualifications (Experience and Education):
- Bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in Human Resources, Organization Behavior, Industrial Psychology, or related field is required.
- 5 years’ experience as a manager in a corporate environment managing a team of 5 or more direct reports, required.
- At least 5 years’ experience in designing experiential learning programs, with extensive experience in executive coaching and content development, required.
- Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach or MBTI certification, preferred.
- Experience in publicly traded companies is highly preferred.
- Prior manufacturing company experience in an FDA regulated industry, preferred.
- Prior experience working for a publicly traded company, preferred.
- Prior experience in a high growth company, preferred.
- A combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
