Lead Veterinary Receptionist - Island Cats Veterinary Hospital

Island Cats is seeking a Lead Client Service Representative to join our Reception team! Our CSRs serve a vital role as the first and last point of contact with a client and their pet. As the face of the hospital, they greet visitors with warmth and compassion, fostering trust in the veterinary team, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

We're looking for a highly motivated individual who is committed to a career in veterinary medicine. This is an ideal position for someone with at least three years of customer service experience, is organized, and can move quickly from task to task, while still paying close attention to detail.

This is a full-time position, with a 4-10 hour or 5- 8 hour schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Lead the front office team and direct clinic workflow
• Assist with training and developing team members
• Ensuring daily assignments are understood and completed
• Client service and communication
• Collaboration with other team members
• Booking appointments and setting up new clients and patients
• Financial transactions
• Ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is always clean and presentable
