About you and this role:
Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Turnaround Planner in Seadrift, TX.
The Lead Turnaround Planner is a Turnaround (TA) maintenance planner lead who organizes and leads the planning team for their designated turnarounds. This individual develops and owns the planning strategy with assistance from the core TA team members. This includes reviewing job scopes, identifying needed planning resources, reviewing job plans and driving efficient and accurate planning completion for the turnaround. This includes working closely with operations and cost/schedule resources to ensure full integration.

About you and this role:
Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Turnaround Planner in Seadrift, TX.
The Lead Turnaround Planner is a Turnaround (TA) maintenance planner lead who organizes and leads the planning team for their designated turnarounds. This individual develops and owns the planning strategy with assistance from the core TA team members. This includes reviewing job scopes, identifying needed planning resources, reviewing job plans and driving efficient and accurate planning completion for the turnaround. This includes working closely with operations and cost/schedule resources to ensure full integration.
Responsibilities:
- Is a technical resource for TA maintenance planners
- Develops and is an expert in the TA planning strategy for assigned TAs.
- Drives implementation of playbook 5: plan to a standard
- Trains new planners when applicable
- Able to develop relationships and work well with all disciplines/departments at SDO.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a High school diploma OR GED is required.
- A minimum of 5 years maintenance/project planning/coordination in refining or petrochemical environment.
- Must have the ability to work 4-10s, but adaptability to work flexible schedules including weekends and nights (up to 80+hrs/week during turnaround executions).
- Must have the a valid U.S. driver license.

- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
Preferred Skills:
- SAP knowledge.
- Primavera knowledge.
- Microsoft Office Suite tools experience,
- Willing and able to meet physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations-
