Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment.
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.)to enhance the child’s ability to learn.
- Observe each child’s development and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons in line with curriculum.
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
- Guide children’s activities throughout the day using a positive approach and providing support where needed.
- Communicate with parents regularly in order to achieve a good relationship.
- Follow all child care policies and procedures without regard to religion, race, color, national origin, age, sex or disability.
