Our team is actively looking to make a long-term addition by bringing on a Lead Superintendent with experience building podium, wrap, and/or garden style projects in the Austin area.

Job Details:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations of multifamily construction projects from planning to completion. This includes managing the daily schedule, coordinating all construction activities, ensuring safety and quality standards, and liaising with subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders. The Lead Superintendent will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of multifamily construction projects, ensuring that specifications are met, and work is done on time and within
budget.
2. Develop, maintain, and manage the construction schedule, coordinating with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure
smooth operations.
3. Supervise and direct onsite staff, subcontractors, and other construction-related personnel, fostering a positive work environment
that encourages teamwork and high performance.
4. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety and quality standards, taking corrective action as necessary.
5. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any
issues or concerns promptly.
6. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
7. Coordinate and manage all onsite resources, including materials, tools, and human resources, ensuring optimal utilization.
8. Resolve any problems that may arise during construction, implementing effective solutions to minimize delays and costs.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on multifamily
construction.
2. A degree in Construction Management is a plus, but by no means required. Equivalent field experience is just as great!
3. Demonstrated experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating complex construction projects.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, safety protocols, and quality standards.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other
stakeholders.
8. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Proficiency in construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
10. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
11. Physical fitness, with the ability to work in various weather conditions and stand or walk for long periods.
