Job Overview:
As a Bridal / Evening Wear Fashion Store Associate, you will provide exceptional customer service and personalized styling advice to clients seeking bridal and evening wear attire. Your role will include assisting customers in selecting the perfect gown, offering guidance on fit, styling, and accessories, and ensuring that each client has a memorable shopping experience. You will also support store operations by maintaining a clean, organized environment and meeting sales targets. The role may include additional responsibilities in assisting the Customer Service team with tickets especially those related to store issues.
*Please Note: This role will be expected to work approximately 32-40 hours per week with a work. Candidates must have weekend availability, and be able to work either of the following schedules:
Wednesday - Sunday OR Thursday - Monday
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greet and engage with customers, providing a high level of service and professionalism.
- Assist customers in selecting bridal or evening wear dresses that align with their preferences, body types, and occasions.
- Offer advice on accessories, shoes, and other complementary items to complete the look.
- Handle fittings and alterations requests in collaboration with the alterations team.
- Ensure customers have a positive and memorable shopping experience, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the store’s overall performance.
- Promote current collections, sales, and special promotions to increase sales.
- Upsell and cross-sell products such as accessories, shoes, and undergarments.
- Maintain detailed records of customer preferences for future follow-ups and customer engagement.
- Maintain a clean and organized store, including the fitting rooms, display areas, and storage.
- Ensure that merchandise is properly displayed and arranged to highlight new arrivals and seasonal collections.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking, tagging, and organizing products.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the store is ready for peak shopping times, including sales events and peak wedding seasons.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet store objectives and deliver excellent customer service.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new collections, store policies, and sales techniques.
- Assist with bridal appointments, ensuring that clients are given undivided attention.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and special requests professionally and efficiently both in store and through Azazie CRM tools.
- Support the management team in visual merchandising efforts and promotional displays.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of prior retail or fashion experience, preferably in bridal or evening wear.
- Previous experience as a lead is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
- Knowledge of bridal fashion trends, fabrics, and fit highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and sales reporting.

Physical Requirements:
