We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Special Education Teacher (Certified) who are passionate about helping students thrive. This role combines 85% teaching with 15% coaching and supervising, offering you the opportunity to directly support students while also guiding fellow educators.

What You’ll Do:
Teaching (85%)
Empower Students:Design and deliver individualized lessons that address unique student needs using provided resources.
Differentiate Instruction: Use data-driven strategies to scaffold learning, ensuring each student receives targeted support.
Foster Engagement: Cultivate a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, intellectual risk-taking, and a growth mindset.
Create Structure: Establish routines and procedures to help students take ownership of their learning.
Track Progress:Maintain accurate data on attendance, academic growth, and instructional materials.
Coaching and Supervising (15%)
Support Educators: Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow teachers, helping them refine their instructional techniques.
Share Expertise: Model best practices and offer feedback to foster professional growth among colleagues.
Collaborate: Work with school staff and Catapult Learning leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality instruction.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
A current MA Special Education Certification is required.
A current MA Teaching license in Moderate or Severe Disabilities is required
Leadership or Managerial experience preferred.
