We are seeking a Solutions Engineer, Lead to work in a hybrid environment in one of our following sites: Lanham, Maryland • Memphis, Tennessee • Austin, Texas • Dallas, Texas • Ogden, Utah.
Job Summary:
The Solutions Engineer Lead will oversee program and project integration, providing support for various technical analyses and reviews. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting process improvement and ensuring adherence to standards.
- Understanding the impacts of the integrated IMF Modernization system and its components.
- Gathering and compiling data for presentations and artifacts.
- Providing program integration support, including interfacing with Delivery Partners.
- Coordinating the deployment of newly developed capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage solution engineering projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies for proposed solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications and architecture diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and present solutions.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant federal regulations and organizational standards.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5-7 years leading solution engineering strategy and design for large-scale programs, preferably within the federal sector.
- Frameworks: Proficient in leveraging The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) principles.
- Systems Knowledge: Experience with legacy systems.
- Tools: Familiarity with tools such as IBM Rational System Architect, Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM), Rational Team Concert (RTC), Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), Decision Modeling Notation (DMN), and Unified Modeling Language (UML).
- Architectural Skills: Knowledge of IMF Mod Solution Architecture, Vision Solution and Architecture (VSA), and Program Roadmap.
- Database Experience: Proficient in both Relational and NoSQL databases.
- Cloud Architecture: Experience architecting Cloud-Based Systems, particularly using Amazon AWS services, and designing high-throughput systems with massive parallel processing.
- Performance Engineering: Skilled in conducting Performance Engineering Modeling & Testing, as well as Performance Tuning and Testing/Analysis for IBM z/OS environments and Eligibility Engine Java applications.
- Documentation: Ability to create and/or update IMF Mod design specification reports (DSRs) in conformity with IRS design methods and tools specific to each project.

- Proven track record in architecting solutions for complex systems and environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with stakeholders and team members.
