Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Lead Solutions Architect - Software Engineering to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and leading the development of innovative software solutions, managing complex IT projects, and driving digital transformation initiatives. You will leverage your extensive experience in software development, cloud computing, and DevSecOps to ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the strategic application of software solutions.

Essential Duties:

• Lead the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Guide teams toward common goals and work with developers in pair-programming to solve issues and bugs immediately.
• Architect and design scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions.
• Manage IT projects from inception to completion using Agile methodologies.
• Conduct solution demonstrations, respond to RFPs, and deliver customer presentations as part of pre-sales activities.
• Shape technical solutions for new business opportunities and contribute to proposals and technical documentation.
• Implement and oversee DevSecOps practices to ensure secure and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and manage mobile applications, leveraging low-code/no-code platforms.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve business operations and customer experiences.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and Federal Standards, including obtaining ATO for IT systems.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, IT project management, and cloud-based solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient in mobile application development, low-code/no-code platforms, and cloud-hosted SaaS solutions.
• Strong background in Agile methodologies, software metrics, and continuous improvement processes.
• Experience with software testing, DevSecOps, CI/CD practices, and Human-Centered Design.
• Familiarity with data-centric approaches, digital engineering practices, and systems integration.
• Knowledge of DoD and Federal Standards for IT systems and experience in obtaining ATO.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS GovCloud and Azure Government.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Ansible.
• Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or CISSP are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
