About the Job
Manhattan WMOS and exposure to Java (Manhattan WMOS is java based) needed.
This role is a 100% hands on tech lead role.
- Authors, reviews and approves technical designs
- Mastery of domain programming language
- Engineers extensible solutions with the team in mind and can fix complex bugs
- Reviews code to ensure it is functionally correct and consistent with the technical design

Technical (Nice to Haves)
- 10+ years of experience in application and software engineering
- Experience acting in a lead capacity – both from a technical oversight and mentor perspective
- Experience with Distribution Centers / logistics technology,
- Warehouse Management Systems – ideally Manhattan WMOS
- Comfortable partnering with external vendors – in this case, working closely with Manhattan Associates for the design and development of new capabilities with WMOS, perform configuration, testing, production support.
Non-Technical Requirements
- Experience working in an agile development environment – Jira, sprint planning, story point estimation
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate business functionality and opportunities into clear, precise and easy-to-read functional specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams.
- Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and understand how technology can support the business in achieving revenue and profit goals.
- Proven ability to pull a diverse group of individuals with different goals together and facilitate productive discussions.
- Exhibit the qualities of situational leadership as well as someone who can work with a team and pull the team forward to deliver business value.
Salary
115,000 - 135,000 /year
