Responsibilities:
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will:
1. Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions for our fintech projects.
2. Utilize your skills in Java, Spring, Node.js, and React to develop and enhance our software systems.
3. Work with distributed systems and AWS to manage and optimize our cloud-based applications and services.
4. Leverage your understanding of relational databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
5. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional software solutions.
6. Mentor junior software engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
7. Conduct code reviews and ensure that all software solutions are aligned with our architectural roadmap and coding standards.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and incorporate them into our software solutions where appropriate.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Lead Software Engineer position should have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java, Spring, Node.js, and React.
3. Proven experience in working with distributed systems and AWS.
4. Strong understanding of relational databases.
5. Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable but not essential.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
9. A passion for technology and a constant desire to learn and improve.
