About the Job
- Software Development: Design, develop, and implement software solutions to facilitate EMR migration
- Data Migration: Lead the migration of data from legacy EMR systems to new platforms, ensuring data integrity and security
- System Integration: Develop and maintain integration solutions between EMR systems and other healthcare applications
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring best practices in coding and system design
- DevOps Practices: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and ensure system reliability and scalability
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all software and data migration processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all migration processes and software solutions
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on data migration and healthcare IT
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#), database management, and data migration tools
- Healthcare Standards: Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and other relevant protocols
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data storage and integration solutions
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading software development projects and managing technical teams
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in software engineering (Cloud Certs, Data.)
- Knowledge: Familiarity with major EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and experience in healthcare data security
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
