- Service & Technical Work
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, lighting, and electrical inspection services.
- Diagnose, assess, and resolve electrical issues for clients, ensuring safe and efficient solutions.
- Manage multiple service calls daily and maintain high-quality standards.
- Complete projects with minimal supervision, including running teams of 2-6 for larger repair projects.
- Install, repair, and maintain systems such as switchgear, generators, PMs, and motor controls.
- Client & Team Coordination
- Conduct site walkthroughs to gather client requirements, assess problems, and develop tailored solutions.
- Estimate costs, labor, and materials for repair and installation projects.
- Review project plans with the PM team to finalize pricing and material lists.
- Schedule and coordinate tasks for the labor team to meet project deadlines.
- Leadership & Oversight
- Lead and train teams to ensure safety, compliance, and quality on all projects.
- Oversee scheduling for service calls and larger repair projects.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and team members to exceed expectations.
- Flexibility & Travel
- Visit multiple service locations daily and complete work efficiently.
- Handle occasional travel and overnight stays for projects (accommodation and per diem provided).
- Operate company-provided vehicle, starting from the shop on Monday mornings and heading out for other repairs during the week.
- Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a journeyman electrician in commercial, industrial, or government projects.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with advanced maintenance and repair services.
- Proven ability to handle power-saving solutions, electrical inspections, and lighting services.
- Proficiency in estimating project costs and material requirements.
- Skilled in scheduling, team management, and managing service calls.
- Familiarity with switchgear, generators, and motor controls.
- Preferred Certifications (Training Available)
- OSHA 10/30 Certification
- Confined Space Certification
- CPR Certification
- Competent Person Certification
- Tools & Equipment
- Must own hand tools, tool belts, and basic equipment necessary for the role.
