The Role:
We're seeking a dynamic Lead Senior Analyst for Financial Operations who will spearhead special projects, streamline our core business vendor billing processes, and champion the implementation of new policies and programs to enhance our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives in Financial Operations (FinOps) and project manage related processes and developments.
- Document and refine internal FinOps processes, contributing to process improvements and change management.
- Drive system improvements and special projects related to procurement, accounts payable, general ledger, fixed assets, and accounts receivable.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to automate manual processes and implement best practices.
- Conduct meetings with user groups and functional leaders to address issues, ideas, and proposed changes.
- Analyze business requirements to standardize/improve practices using the ERP system.
- Act as a subject matter expert for essential financial functions, supporting the Finance Team as needed.
- Prepare month-end reconciliations, facilitate P&L reviews, and manage financial close activities.
- Propose and implement policies to align financial operations with our strategy, ensuring continuous development and communication.
- Maintain process documentation and test automation tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with D365 F&O.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.
- Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in MS technologies complementing D365 F&O.
- MS D365 F&O Certifications preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve business and technical problems.
- Performance-driven, results-oriented, and adaptable to change.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of emotional intelligence and accountability.
