Summary:
This position is located in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Directorate for International Programs, Office of Regional Directors (DS/IP/RD) and deploys to Camp As Sayliyah (CAS), Regional Security Office (RSO), Vetting Unit (VU), Doha, Qatar.
You will serve as the Team Lead responsible for organizing, assigning, and providing technical advice to VU members; establishing, implementing, and updating guidelines as necessary; keeping the RSO and management officials informed of VU progress.

This is a non-status, non-permanent Personal Service Contract (PSC) position. PSCs do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position. Contract is 1 year; renewable up to 4 years.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.
Applicants applying for the GS-13 must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience leading or managing a team.
- Experience developing and implementing program policies and guidelines for a security screening/vetting program.
- Experience analyzing and/or evaluating classified information to make determinations on security matters as it relates to applicant screening/vetting process.
- Experience in liaising with and providing guidance to diverse security officials and organizations regarding the policies and operations of a security screening/vetting program.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
