Job Summary:

We are looking for a Lead SAP Business Analyst with a deep focus on Record to Report (R2R) processes to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the analysis, design, and optimization of SAP solutions related to the R2R cycle. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical experts to ensure that SAP solutions are aligned with business requirements, best practices, and strategic objectives. The Lead SAP Business Analyst will also guide and mentor junior analysts, driving process improvements across finance and accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
  Lead the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business requirements related to the Record to Report process, with a focus on financial accounting, reporting, and close processes.
  Collaborate with key finance stakeholders to understand business challenges, objectives, and needs, translating them into functional requirements for SAP solutions.
  Define and prioritize R2R requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial compliance.
• Solution Design & Optimization:
  Work closely with SAP Solution Architects and technical teams to design efficient SAP solutions that meet R2R business requirements.
  Leverage SAP's FI/CO (Financial Accounting & Controlling) modules and related technologies to optimize processes such as financial closing, reconciliation, intercompany accounting, and reporting.
  Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and standardization to streamline R2R activities across the organization.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication:
  Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders (finance teams, controllers, auditors, etc.) and the SAP technical team.
  Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that business needs are clearly articulated and that SAP solutions are fully understood.
  Provide regular updates to senior management and other key stakeholders regarding the status of R2R-related initiatives.
• Testing & Implementation Support:
  Support the creation and execution of test plans for new SAP R2R functionalities and enhancements.
  Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure that R2R solutions are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment.
  Provide support during SAP system upgrades, rollouts, and post-implementation phases to ensure smooth transitions.
• Training & Change Management:
  Develop and deliver training materials for end-users, ensuring effective adoption of new R2R processes and SAP functionalities.
  Support change management initiatives, ensuring that business users are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to work effectively with SAP R2R solutions.
• Process Improvement & Best Practices:
  Continuously analyze and identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the R2R cycle within SAP.
  Establish and maintain best practices for SAP financial processes, ensuring they are aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  Lead initiatives to optimize financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing processes, and compliance with financial controls.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship:
  Mentor and guide junior SAP Business Analysts and team members, providing support and fostering a collaborative environment.
  Promote knowledge sharing and ensure that team members are up-to-date with SAP best practices and emerging trends.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education:
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced certifications or qualifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, CPA) are a plus.
• Experience:
  7+ years of experience in SAP business analysis, with a strong focus on finance processes.
  Proven experience with SAP FI/CO modules (Financial Accounting & Controlling), and related R2R submodules such as FI-AA (Asset Accounting), FI-GL (General Ledger), FI-AR (Accounts Receivable), and FI-AP (Accounts Payable).
  In-depth knowledge of financial processes, financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing, and integration of SAP with other business functions (e.g., SAP MM, SD, PP).
  Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori is highly desirable.
• Skills:
  Strong ability to analyze and document business processes and translate them into SAP solution requirements.
  Expertise in SAP configuration, gap analysis, and system enhancements related to R2R processes.
  Solid understanding of financial reporting and controls, including statutory reporting, tax compliance, and accounting standards.
  Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with both business and technical teams.
  Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Additional Skills (Desirable):
  Experience in managing or leading teams of analysts.
  Knowledge of integration tools and technologies for SAP.
  Experience with other SAP modules such as SAP BW/4HANA or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  Familiarity with automation tools in SAP, such as SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation (RPA), is a plus.
