Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Estimator to join a high-performing team within the Engineering & Construction division. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to prepare capital cost estimates for renewable energy and high-voltage transmission projects. You will help shape the future of clean energy by ensuring accurate and efficient project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed capital expenditure (CapEx) models, including engineering, material, direct, and indirect construction costs.
• Analyze project designs and specifications for cost-effectiveness, offering alternatives when appropriate.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and optimize resource utilization.
• Stay current with industry trends, technology, and market conditions to ensure accurate estimates.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering growth and knowledge sharing.
• Establish and implement metrics for cost and construction estimate checks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 7+ years in project estimating, with a preference for renewable energy or transmission projects.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong Excel skills and familiarity with estimating tools.
• Strong leadership and project management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical), Construction Science, or Construction Management.
• 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years of field experience.
• Knowledge and experience in renewables or high-voltage transmission projects.
