This is a hybrid position working three days in the office in Carrollton, Texas.
We're looking for a dynamic Lead Product Manager, Ecommerce to help us create best-in-class digital experiences for our two brands, Leatherology and Coverstore. This role will be pivotal in shaping our Ecommerce strategy, driving innovative website features, and optimizing performance through data-driven insights. Duties and responsibilities:
Product Road Map & Strategy
- Partner with IT and brand stakeholders to oversee roadmap of overall Ecommerce platform and technology stack.
- Collaborate with other departments regularly to prioritize new site features, bug fixes, and improvements based on business needs.
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and innovations to recommend new products and capabilities for either or both businesses.
- Lead efforts to implement UI/UX best practices and a mobile-first, responsive design.
- Oversee roll-out of new features, manage relevant vendor contracts/relationships, and train appropriate business users on approved functionality.
Website Analytics & Conversion Rate Optimization
- Continually analyze website performance to identify UI/UX updates that would improve the on-site shopping experience.
- Oversee methodology and 1st and/or 3rd party tool(s) for tagging, tracking, and website analytics.
- Establish key performance indicators and determine benchmarks for metrics such as conversion rate, cart abandon rate, and bounce rate to optimize website performance.
- Oversee the planning and execution of website A/B and multivariate testing initiatives and timelines to support the goals and objectives of the business. Incorporate feedback and partner with merchandising and marketing teams to determine priorities.
- Establish and ensure adherence to standard A/B testing methodology, including set-up, scoping, analysis, and reporting.
- Report website performance and testing results on an ongoing basis to relevant teams and company leadership.
Project and Team Management
- Work with leadership to prioritize projects, establish milestones and schedules, gather detailed business requirements from internal business stakeholder, and ensure all objectives and deadlines are met.
- Monitor project progress and ensure allocation of necessary technical and business resources required to ensure a smooth and timely launch.
- Manage and develop team members by providing coaching, performance management, feedback, and training.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of experience in ecommerce product management, website analytics, or digital project management.
- Expertise in ecommerce platforms, with a strong focus on Shopify; experience with platform migrations or enhancements is a plus.
- Proven experience in documenting business requirements and acting as a bridge between IT and business users, translating complex technical details into clear, business-friendly language.
- Proficiency in website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) and A/B testing, with a focus on conversion rate optimization and user experience improvements.
- Strong cross-functional team leadership skills, with the ability to drive projects from ideation through execution.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
