About the Job
We are looking for a hardworking and energetic Lead Prep Manager. This person should be someone who loves cooking and can lead a team to be consistently great in everything they produce. You should excel in a fast-paced environment, be able to think critically, and you should have at least two years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking. You should have good communication skills, and be comfortable standing for long periods of time, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have the flexibility to work weekends and some holidays.
Lead Prep Manager Responsibilities:
?Prepare amazing creations from scratch following our recipes to produce consistent results
?Must be able to multi-task. This position requires focus and ability.
?Know and comply consistently with standard cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen practices
?Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment
?Portion all the products, follow the recipes, and always make sure the plate presentation looks great
?Keep it clean! Follow the sanitization standards, make sure your workstation stays clean and organized, and follow all of the food handling standards
?Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory

Requirements
?Experience in quality food production, presentation, service, and sanitation
?Advanced understanding of professional cooking, knife handling skills, and a voracious appetite for knowledge
?Be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, and guests
?Must respect the process, and cooking in general, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
?Must be able to lead, train and motivate the kitchen staff

Physical Requirements:
Lead Prep Managers will regularly stand, walk, talk, carry, bend, stoop, turn and lift in excess of fifty (50) pounds. Lead Prep Managers will also drive, view a computer monitor, and type/write on a regular basis. Team lift required on anything over fifty (50) pounds and/or an awkward lift.
