About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Plumber to lead our plumbing sales, installation, and excavation operations. This role demands a seasoned professional who can drive sales, manage project lifecycle from quoting through to completion, and enhance customer satisfaction.
There is an annual goal and this role will be commission only.
Must have experience with all types of drain repair solutions (trenchless, pipe bursting, relining are a plus)
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Manage and grow key accounts by nurturing client relationships and understanding their needs deeply.
- Project Management:
- Oversee all aspects of plumbing installations and excavations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to company standards.
- Coordinate with installation teams to ensure efficiency in job execution.
- Quoting and Estimating:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotes, and proposals for residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing projects.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors to maintain profitability.
- Team Supervision:
- Lead, train, and mentor sales representatives and installation crews.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance team productivity and service quality.
- Customer Service:
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Follow up on leads and opportunities to convert them into sales.
- Administrative Duties:
- Generate reports on sales activities, project statuses, and team performance for senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, revenue, invoices, and other key metrics.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years in a sales management role within the plumbing industry.
- Proven track record in sales growth, project management, and team leadership.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, installation techniques, and excavation processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Certifications:
- A valid driver’s license.
- Qualified to be licensed (if you do not have one we will help you get one)
