Full-Time Evenings Rotating Weekends
Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM with Rotating Weekends
Salary Range: $28.78 - $43.10
Shift Differential:
Evenings - $3.00
Nights - $3.25
Weekends - $4.50
Relocation: Case by Case Basis
Sign-On Bonus: $10K
The required job qualifications include:
· Currently registered as an MRI Technologist, or will obtain MRI registry within six months of hire date
· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course, as specified in policy
· Current?registry?by?the?American?Registry?of?Radiologic?Technologists
· Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
· One year of experience in an MRI Imaging Department preferred
Miscellaneous information that will be helpful in identifying qualified candidates:
Previous experience with GE MRI systems
Experience with pediatric patients
Experience starting IVs
Any safety or MRSO training
A few responsibilities of our MRI Technologist include:
You will position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
· You will be performing procedures and assessing patients throughout and responding to the patients needs as appropriate
· You will complete appropriate documentation for each study performed
· You will use professional discernment and critical thinking when performing procedures
· You will participate in orientation and training of new staff members and teach students during their clinical rotations
· You will maintain thorough knowledge of scanners and exam protocols in order to ensure the highest quality procedures
Types of Services: MRI all ages including neonatal patients. Facility is level 1 trauma center. Exams expected for tech to perform would be general MRI. We utilize anesthesia group for our sedation needs on adult patients, with pediatric sedation group that helps handle our littles sedation needs. Expected to perform MR conditional pacemaker studies with Medtronic tablet device and ACLS RN present to monitor patient.
